In 2009, Belgrade, Serbia and the whole region got the largest shopping center – UŠĆE Shopping Center.The shopping centre was about a third bigger than Delta City shopping centre.
Located in New Belgrade, oposite the Hyatt Regency hotel it has a spacious underground car park and features 120,000 square meters of shopping space. There are 150 shops, numerous restaurants and bars, a playground, a supermarket. The unique multiplex cinema with 11 movie theatres, a bowling alley, arcades and a casino closed down in Nov 2013 and have yet to reopen by Jan 2014.The shops featured here (2012) include O’Neil, Champion Sports, Nike Sports shop, Lush cosmetics, Zara, NewYorker, Marks and Spencers, Bershka, C&A, Mothercare (these two now being defunct in the UK), Big Bang (electrical store), etc. The food haul is spacious with MacDonalds, KFC, and several Serbian cuisine restaurants.Next to the food haul there is a kids’ playground and a 4D mini-cinema experience.

4.Knez Mihailova street
Welcome to shopping madness street!
Knez Mihailova street is the first officially named streets in Belgrade.Knez loved Belgrade and Belgrade is like Prince. With its commitment to art, culture, the European spirit of the city, a diplomatic solution of the problems … Prince Mihailo Obrenovic deserved it the most visited and one of the most beautiful streets in 1870 is named after him. Knez has contributed to the appearance of the street and personally donating land with a desire to be used “for educational purposes”. On it in 1924. erected a monumental palace of the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences, designed by architects Andre Stevanovic and Dragutin Djordjevic. A larger number of representative buildings from the late nineteenth century, reflect the influence of European architectural practice.
